Introduction
A patient is the most important element in the entire health care delivery system. He is the sole purpose for the existence of the hospital. The entire resources of the hospital are created to meet his personal requirements. When he visits the hospital, he has some physical, mental or psycho social problems. Perhaps he is nervous, or in a state of anxiety. The uncertainties of treatment and of successful recovery haunts him. He has got an earnest desire-to know many things. The Health Professionals' should be familiar with his information needs and should make deliberate and sincere efforts to provide such information in a friendly manner.
